I went to an independent medical examination on July 12, 2019. Upon arrival, the floors were disgusting, the vents had mold and it smelled awful. I had my mother with me for the examination but then was told by the doctors assistant that the doctor will not allow my mother in the examination room with me. It was very weird. I continued with the examination and he barely touched my body to feel any trigger points or anything wrong with my body. I asked him “are you going to examine my body further? And Dr.Alpert shortly replied “I already did” when asking my medical history (mental illnesses and physical illnesses) he said “wow that’s a lot for a 19 year old.” I was shocked at this statement. He doesn’t know me or my struggles. I am a disabled 19 year old under the ADA (American Act of Disabilities) I have a service dog which I did not bring to the exam due to my dog being ill. I asked where I can obtain a handicap plate because I thought he was a doctor who would be understanding that there are days where I cannot physically walk. In his IME report he said it was “unusual for a 19 year old to ask for this” okay. My age does not lessen my concerns and problems . All in all this doctor said that further treatment is not medically necessary for me anymore. I would not recommend Dr. Alpert at all for anything. The office is disgusting, the doctor is very rude and his staff was rude as well.

The staff in the front is very unprofessional. They are rude and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit . I had a issue with one of the young ladies that was over the front staff i didn’t receive A text about coming in at 4pm So I came in my regular time .5:30 . She had a attitude I later found out because she felt I came in late . I had yet to receive a apology.
